I'm loving all the feedback and ideas. I'm more than willing to set up advertising as a contest, say, for every one person you recruit, you get maybe 50 ancestors tears? See, generous, yes? And I've been contemplating having a natural disaster happen that will force some interesting things, but its based on and tied to another thing that happened in the forum, so we'll see how that goes. I think that its what's going to happen to force things to change a little and for activity to grow a little more. EDIT: I have put into effect some plots for some of the packlands, two of which will be required to relocate until future notice, while one will be in a state of chaos (Either relocating or just having chaos) until future notice. Perhaps this will spark some activity and some interest to see how things go from here. Hopefully it will make some things more interesting. Now, to anyone who recruits members to the forum, please let me know and I will give you 50 Ancestors Tears for doing so. Please be honest about things!

I think advertisement is a big must now that we've lost 2 major members.

I said downsizing-With so many places to post, and so little members, the site looks empty where if it was a bit smaller here or there, the posts would be more condensed (not necessarily cluttered) and could make the forum look, and be, more active. Newer members might be intimidated by all the empty space. Why join and participate here? Doesn't look like there's constant activity. And I also said expanding the options -New species? HOW AND WHERE CAN I APPLY!! That's my first thought. I haven't been active enough to earn anything, but give me a goal to work towards with a reward that's appealing to me, might not give me motivation and inspriation straight out, but that doesn't mean there's temptation! To roleplay the only cat among wolves? Stag, snake, heck, even dragon? I'd jump on that oppurtunity! (dragon? yeah, ok, I can dream right?)

My post is going to sound brutally honest and quite likely bitchy but I don't care anymore. We need members who are motivated, not members who let every little thing in their lives detract from activity. I can juggle 2 jobs, full time education, extra-curricular activities and friends...yet still manage to have time to manage my own site and post here. There is NO reason why members can't log on at least once or twice a week to post something. It's not like it's a terrible strain. Members leaving and giving us utterly ridiculous excuses is beginning to anger me because it just shows how lazy people are. I'm tired of RPing with lazy people, I want to RP with writers. Maybe we need to boost Aelyn's standards and look for more serious writers and character developers.

I just rejoined Aelyn after an extremely long hiatus. I loved this site, always loved the plots and ideas that came with it. I don't plan on leaving for an extremely long time; Sway and everyone else who has known me (Ty), you all did a marvelous job upholding this site. If any of you, the moderators and the wonderful Sway for letting me return, need help with coding, graphics, or anything, I'm here to return my debt.
I entirely agree with Cere. From the pretty layout, to the downsizing. The layout seems a bit cluttered, and people tend to have organization as a must in their priority list. The other site, luriddestinies, had the most amazing layouts on it that I have ever seen. It was one of the many good reasons I joined Aelyn in the first place. The chatbox all the way at the bottom can get tedious, also. Having to scroll all the way down to reply, then scroll up to continue is... bothersome, but only a little.
I know this isn't on the poll, but I would like to say that not a lot of people like having numerous accounts. They forget, or it just seems tedious to them. I don't mind it at all, but to others, it can be a sin and a blessing. Organization is on point, but having to log on and off just to post on different characters is tedious to them.
